Information Meeting

On the 1st of April I attended the Information Meeting for the walk in at the NPWS office at Gosford. The meeting explained what the walk involved, how fit you had to be to join in, what sorts of stuff to bring & of course how much it costs.

Most of the people at the meeting were all experienced walkers and quite a few of them had actually done the walk before, or most of the walk and had enjoyed it so much they were coming back for a second go... Which is encouraging.

Anne was at the meeting and asked most of the questions, so there was plenty of info available.

After attending the meeting I decided that joggers weren't really the best things to wear when walking a couple of hundred k's so I went out and bought a new pair of hiking boots, which rock! plus a very stylish hiking backpack.
